How do we start a page that truly relays who we are as people? We don’t actually know the answer to this, but at our core values stands FAMILY.
We’ve owned and operated The Lemon Made, vending hand-crushed lemonade shake-ups in the local area for the past 15 years. It gave us the opportunity to work together as a family, teach our sons how to operate a business, and to work hard to earn some summer money.
Houghton Lake has been our favorite place. We always said, “If we ever went brick and mortar, it would be in Houghton Lake.” This was not because of the beautiful lakes or the many outdoor activities but because of the community, the people.
There is a genuine warmth, support, and the hold the door open for others atmosphere. It’s a community that reflects our own core values.
Long story short, the building across from Arnie’s was for sale and as we dreamed our dreams, we said, “What if?”
